It does a pretty good job of replicating the show pretty well, despite the show being pretty minimalistic.
Ren and stimpy would be extra hard considering the animators used a ton of expression and never used the same one twice.
very well said, I agree we are getting there.
I feel like a broken record, and don't take this the wrong way but Wind Waker never struck me as a hand drawn kind of thing.
Just looked at the trailer for the most recent one.
I agree, it is a good first step.
"you'd need extremely complex 3D models and tons of other complex lighting and shading techniques to achieve something that looks hand drawn."
I've responded to someone else about this already so I'll just summarize my post:
It's a good game and all but I never just thought "wow, is this a hand drawn animation? It sure is hard to tell!".
That looks pretty close, even if it's a fighting game.
I am waiting for a game that is 3-D but actually accomplishes looking like an traditionally animated movie or a comic book.
So they're making new episodes? That's even better.
It did???? Is it written by the same people? I never knew this ._.
I would love to have new episodes (hahaha yeah right), but alas they are already continuing it in a comic series.
Looks like something from Dark Souls.
