It looks like Kanye also spent part of his childhood in Oak Lawn attending high school there. I didn’t know about Common. I mistook Calumet Heights for Calumet the city. Thanks.

I was talking to a couple of friends who are also natives about the “chi-town” reference and none of us has heard it used widely. I remember a pop station DJ who would use it and I think that Common and Kanye use it but neither of them grew up in Chicago. I think it’s mainly a non-local word.

I really love her hairstyle. Her whole look is just great.

Thank you.

Also, it seems to me that the Mughlai food served in Indian restaurants is more Mughlai-ish by way of perhaps Punjab or some other region.

Thanks for pointing this out.

I forgot that the DACA program had been re-instated by court order.

I was there, too!

I’m also guessing that he’s not from Illinois.

Boy, are you going to love satvik food. It’s free of garlic and onion.

I’ll take your word for it. I hate the sight and sound of him. This presidency is The Onion come to life.

I thought this was a joke.

Why not just boil all of this and let the fat solidify in the fridge before removing?

Dayum.

Niiiiiiiiice

I wonder if that is why Indians go overboard with food, too. There should always be food left over. Running out means that you have failed as a host.

That last line, though.

“He suggested that Dee cook only with salt.”
