Going to have to take Izzo’s side on this one. You don’t like that he yelled and point out that this is not office-appropriate behavor? Izzo doesn’t work in an office. His job is to get the best out of his players. This player took it and responded exactly how Izzo hoped he would. Nothing to see here.

If he does, then holding out will look like a really smart move.

Thanks for the update. The uncertainty was killing us.

Extactly this. These people are Regressive Leftists DESTROYING the left wing with every bullshit fake article. Every double down. Every continued tantrum. All the commenters who are ignoring massive evidence, and even Phillips retracting his comments. All of the jerks still writing these articles are creating Trump

“...despite video evidence that he walked into the space separating the students and Black Israelites and stood there before that students formed a semicircle around him. “

It’s always tough to understand the context when Jim Irsay asks his players if they’re holding.

I’m not watching the game and I don’t condone the “tactical” decision. That said, they achieved their “goal” of getting the ball back without allowing any further points from Ohio State. Their ensuing offensive incompetence shouldn’t take away from this “achievement”.

No shit it wasn’t an actual gag order. It was a figure of speech. Yeah he could place the blame somewhere else but he’s not an asshole. And the onus is not on detractors to provide contradicting evidence when the report doesn’t have any either.

Not to mention ESPN violating its own editorial standards when running this article. In theory, Deadspin should be ALL OVER ESPN again failing Big J-school.

Publishing a kids name that hasn’t been charged is unethical. What is wrong with you people?

So we’re just going to start naming people who haven’t been charged, based on an anonymous source, and act like this is normal or is “journalism” worth celebrating? Awesome.

I’ve done Murph a couple times (no vest), and I think my best time ever was around 55 minutes. For comparison, I can run a mile in 5:30, two miles at 13:00 without feeling particularly winded, rock climb regularly at V4s pushing to V5s, and oh yeah, I played in the fucking NFL.
