True, I should have been more specific. Even though they don't line up, both the books and the show seem to stop at random points. It's a small gripe and doesn't affect the big picture at all. It worries me a bit more with the show if for some reason season four is not picked up.

As a book reader, I have to say that the structural wonkiness to this point is a carry over. Don't get me wrong, I really enjoyed reading them, but I was glad I read them after multiple books had been published. I think the break points would have been frustrating otherwise.
