I don't really get this comment. Have you been around Seattle since 1976? There was a huge waiting list for season tickets in the 80's. The NFL instituted that stupid rule about crown noise because of hawks fans. Sure, when the team went 2-14 in '92 the fan base dropped, but of course it would. It's not like

Not sure what this represents. Pics 1 and 8 looks like people that never went to the game in the first place (note the dog in pic 1). Pics 2 and 5 are showing people that are still in the stadium. Pics 3 and 4 seem to show about 10 people, not sure if they went to the game or not. Pic 6 shows a common scene all

Funny thing is many of these pics are from inside the stadium, and are of people still in the stadium. All of the pics with the stairs are inside the gates.

Does anybody know why you never see flip throws in top tier leagues or international? I see it in american college soccer often, and it creates some decent chances. I understand the better teams like to keep possession, but I'd think this would come up at least every so often.

The party line that I've heard is that Gruden wants to get rid of RGIII, and Snyder won't let him. It's been painted as a Gruden v. Snyder/RGIII battle. But you're painting this as Snyder having a "stooge" undercut RGIII, so it's easier for Snyder to cut him? Is the party line I'm hearing wrong?

It's pretty clear to me there are two separate actions. The first, where he slides on his knees, is a penalty. The second, where he touches his head to the ground, is a prayer and not a penalty. The sliding part is clearly a penalty, just like if you stopped short of the goal line and dramatically fell across the

It's so much worse when you notice it's 37-0 in the 2nd quarter.

Have you seen the excavators they use to fill those trucks? Not sure how much perspective this picture gives, but the bucket on this thing is about 50 cubic yards.

Very casual fight fan here. I did not watch these fights. I looked at the scorecards you linked, and I guess I don't get how his judging could have been so bad. In one fight, he had the exact same scorecard as another judge. In the other, he only had one round different than another judge, and it was a split

I can only assume the low honeycrisp voters are taking price into consideration. As much as I LOVE honeycrisp, when they come out I tell my kids they can have college or honeycrisp, but not both.

They came with sleeves, but Griffey convinced everyone to rip them off.

and per NCAA rules, a player has to privately finance his own premiums,

He is in maybe my favorite baseball story of all time. In 2009 with the Ms, he gets hit in the nuts with a grounder at third. He does not wear a cup. He knows it hurts, but he does not realize how much he really is injured. He ends up on the DL with bruised nuts. The amazing part is he played out the game, which

I wish I would have thought of prune juice. Our ped suggested an "anal massage" which is exactly what you think it is. We finally figured out if you put an anal thermometer in there, it breached the dam.

If I'm Portugal, I'm putting Ronaldo on the right so he can go at Beasley all day. Ghana seemed to have free reign to cross from over there all day.

That statute seemed to say your only options were P in V, or analingus. Odd range of choices.

There's a difference between acting like you're fouled, and acting like you're injured. Acting like you're fouled is the "win at any cost" attitude that's somewhat respected. Acting like you're injured is the pussy move that Americans hate. Right or wrong.

I'm using old IE9 and mine's the same way. The frame seems to be too small for the player. Last year this was not a problem.

This recipe is a total pain in the ass, but totally worth it. Take all the leaves off each sprout, toss them in salt, pepper, and olive oil. Spread them on a sheet pan, and sprinkle with parmesan. Broil. Then I dare you not to eat the entire load in 30 seconds.

I think he's saying "in the last 50,000" man-hours, there have been no injuries. Kind of like the when construction sites put up those 75 DAYS WITH NO ACCIDENTS signs and they change the number each day. So he's saying if you're going to forecast the number of people killed, you could use his number and forecast
