A little over 5 years ago I moved to San Diego from my small hometown. I moved away for opportunity, a change in scenery, etc. But also to get away from a mentally ill, drug addicted, abusive ex who I had a restraining order against.

In my hometown it's been 108 (near Death Valley, CA) in the afternoon for the last week. It used to not get that hot for that long until late July/August.

The re-release of Jurassic Park was AMAZING in 3D! Since it wasn't made for 3D it wasn't over the top. It really brought back the magic. I felt exactly the way I felt when I watched it 20 years ago in the theater!
