A couple years ago my parents got me a couple GelPro mats. One for in front of my prep space and one for in front of the sink. At first I thought they were a silly luxury, but with as much time as I spend in the kitchen, I have grown to love them.

Wow that's quite unfair. Reddit is a vast place full of diverse subs, posts and Redditors.
Ok when I was a kid I used to do this thing where I would put my fingers in my mouth and pull my cheeks away from my teeth and look in the mirror. I thought it was cool because it was like looking at the shape of my own skull... For Science!
I'm with you. I've never once had a difficult time, not once. Maybe I'm just a natural ;)
I'm on board! This will be my first Drynuary. So far, it hasn't been too difficult. Was fighting a cold (and won!!) over the weekend so that helped (?). I imagine this weekend will be more difficult considering I have friends coming to town. But I am going to prevail!
I used to be a stone mason's hoddie for years. It was the best & hardest job I ever had. As a 20-something, 5'6, 130lb young woman it was hard enough to lift a 50lb half-bag of ready mix over my shoulder, let alone fending off the framers, electricians, etc that milled around on a job site.
I agree that the yellow is kinda cute. The blue lace is gross and doesn't do her ANY favors. The fabric of the green is very pretty, as ISpeakJIve pointed out. But I actually kinda like the cut. If only because it is the ONLY dress I've ever seen her wear that makes her look small/dainty. I think it's the one "daring"…
Keep a folding camp chair in your office (or car) and take it outside to a grassy knoll nearby at lunch, weather permitting of course. But I do agree it is REALLY important for me to get out of the office sometimes. Even when I used to have a break room, it really didn't feel like getting "away."
I am going to use this post as an opportunity to address something I have noticed in many, many forums.
Pay off my debt. It's really not that much (under $5K) and I've put it off faaaar too long. I already have called and scheduled to pay off over a third of it by February!
Thanks for this I just spent all afternoon watching it... at work! My dad, as smart as he is, is an AA fan. I think he just likes the fun of it. But I am going to make him watch this anyway!
cutest. spider. ever.....
So beefy!
Her tag is out in the last photo. The "continuity girl" in me is freaking out!!
She does look lovely. The pattern and cut of the dress are lovely. Throwback, but updated and young.
I thought this same thing, and it gave me an odd vision of some poor woman giving birth to Jon Hamm or something. lol.
This made me LOL HAAAARD! Then I saw geek's pic and died. So funny!
Finally a straightening tool!!
Also, people usually start saying this around Thanksgiving. Add one more to the list of holidays that unholy little saying includes!
I agree. I still have all my childhood books my favorite aunt gave me when I was a kid. They are beautiful and fun to read to the kids I know now. She always wrote a little note on the inside cover. I love her.
