Why not have a label for foods with saturated fats? Or a label for food with trans fats? Or a label for pesticides (which would be virtually all foods)? Maybe a label that says "Warning: Contains Vitamin B12!" Would you find that inappropriately alarming?

I am in CA too, and voted on this. I didn't realize it was so difficult. Interesting.

Whatever your views on GMOs, they should be labeled. Consumers have a right to make a decision about what they are eating.
