This season had way too many loose ends… what happened to Daya? Aleida? Judy? Maria? Sophia? Maureen? Pornstache and his mom? Bayley? Then to just leave those characters in the bunker there….hanging on a cheap cliffhanger? What was the point of the entire season, it feels like nothing actually happened, despite all

The ep was filled with heartbreaking moments but a big one was Suzanne asking Cindy if the pills would make her good… and then Cindy saying yes. Because damn, both characters want the same thing, for her to be good. But Cindy always has a cloudy sense of judgment…she just doesn't get how fucked it is to give her any

Im not LGBT but I could see why the LGBT community would be upset about this. When so few characters in your media appear "like you," and then one dies as a gag, it seems a little bit poor in taste. I am sure the writers didn't realize or intend that at all, but I can see how this would be frustrating.

Well that would be a plot twist

well shit I hadn't thought of that. here comes another existential crisis, apparently.

To me this episode was depressing as HELL. First we have Melissa whose battling some serious demons and then we have Gail who is looking like she'll die in an elevator. And then we have Lewis, pursuing a crazy plan that could ultimately kill him thanks to Tandy's naive optimism (which is admirable, until it could do

Betty finally did it –– she killed Don! Those birds were just target practice.

question: why do people keep casting Jared Leto in anything?

I could see that. The show needs the balance but I just felt like Kristen couldn't be believably so "whatever, man!" about it. She was a pretty shitty person too, not just average, so that threw me. Again though I'm in the minority here, most people loved her performance, so who knows.

Okay, but that's not really difficult to accomplish anyway with his crazy haircuts. No offense, Will.

Hm. I like the premise and love Schur's other work, but I have to say it felt clunky. I also love Kristen Bell, but I disagree in that I found her efforts to be this "bad" person to feel incredibly fake and not very well acted. She just seems too nice to truly be so bad. Maybe I'm projecting.

I must say I wholeheartedly disagree with many aspects of your review.

I agree with those saying that the guards are too flat as characters. I almost can't buy it and it takes me out of the story when they do such atrocious things without explanation. I guess they're veterans and all but the criticism of Pornstache being too flat and mean in S1 returns here. Unless they shed some light

Also not sure if anyone mentioned it but the parallel between Piper feeling gangstA for her infinity tattoo and now getting this swastika branded feels all too potent, almost humorous, but also indicative of how power has ruined her.

Piper is awful, but that scream and image of Taylor Schilling screaming as she got branded is going to haunt me. And like many of you, I don't think she deserves it. She's awful, but that's a whole new level of permanence and physical pain. Can't help but assume it wasn't Maria's idea but one of those new girls'.

I must say I disagree with how you feel about the shows focus on Healy. I always feel OITNB is powerful because it shows that our traditional villains - prisoners - are not really evil villains without reason. Conversely, it shows that the traditional (very traditional, an antiquated view now but still) good guys -

What fucks me up about this show is it has SUCH a great premise, they're the last group on earth, need to survive and figure out what they're even gonna do with their limited resources and people, and yet they HARDLY EVER focus on it.

This episode gave me flashbacks of all the wrong sorts to when Phil 2.0 arrived..essentially the same thing happened, and it felt sooo regressive. Last week's episode was great, I'm thoroughly disappointed to see the writers went down the same route with Mike's entry into the group dynamic.

Absolutely. But I meant any stereotypes against any POC in a white supremacist society will harm POC. People were comparing different stereotypes of race, so I wanted to clarify that.

To people making the argument that "Asian stereotypes aren't harmful" I say this ––
