House of Cards, Breaking Bad, The Wire... it shouldn’t be difficult to make a series starring a villain who is as self assured as Amanda Waller and portrayed by someone as charismatic as Viola Davis.

If we can have the same JJJ across multiple Spider Man movies why not?
There might also be some confusion when it comes to introducing Bushman right away.
Peggy with a jet pack?
The Jitters set is one of the hardest working sets in the whole Arrowverse!
I think you have the right of it, at least in terms of what’s going on with the DC properties. WB’s in a big transition period where everything’s gone chaotic because of the massive amounts of drama over the live action films, and it’s only natural they’d want to consolidate and figure out where to move forward.
The CW is getting sold to someone who inevitably will not have any interest in superhero shows that are expensive to produce
yeah when the rumors of amazing spiderman 3 were flying around, garfield literally said “im taking a break from acting for a while”
This just in! Director willing to work on movies for money! We have the inside scoop!
Thank you. I’m really tired of celebs answering yes to “Would you like this High Paying Job” being treated as news. I too, would be interested in directing Spider-Man 4.
It always seems “If the script is good.”is a go-to response. (Translation: “Exactly how many dump trucks full of currency?”)
counterpoint: Moon Knight has barely connected to the larger MCU. I think I spotted maybe...2 easter eggs over the last 5 episodes? Same could be said for Eternals.
Gargantos is Shuma-Gorath. They can’t use the Shuma name because of trademarks though.
I haven’t been this excited for an MCU film since Endgame.
Andrea Martin is so good as sister Andrea on Evil. Between her & Katja Herbers & Christine Lahti & Michael Emerson on that show there should be awards nominations
This thing was a massive success on Broadway. So wouldn’t a film adaptation do just fine?
Not sure what’s triggering all of this performative ‘remorse’ from actors/directors/ etc. lately: The movie I didn’t make; the movie I did make but now I hate it; the awards I should have gotten; the part I would have gotten, if...... There’s more of it over at The AVClub.
I always found the whole concept of a “Dark Universe” to be kinda silly, for two main reasons:
I think you’re misremembering a lot of what was going on with the John Wick franchise. The release of John Wick 2 and John Wick 3 were over two years apart. February 2017 and May 2019 respectively for the sequels.
Then covid slammed the brakes on John Wick 4 because Keanu got delayed making The Matrix Resurrections in…
It’s sometimes easy to forget but: John Wick 3 came out in 2019.
