Henry Cavill has indeed shot a cameo for Shazam!, but it will only see the light of the day if the actor’s contract is renewed.

He’s wearing a yellow shirt, not a red one.

I suppose we could all suspend our disbelief, like when you watch Grease, or even worse, Grease 2. Absolutely nobody in either of those movies looks like they could be in High School, and hardly any of them were even close to high school age IRL.

No argument here, but can even she pull off playing a character who is supposed to be so young at 38 year old? It’s one thing you could probably pull off on stage, but quite another in a movie. I am guessing that Lea Michele would be in the running for Elphaba, but, again, she is 32.

Rachel Skarsten played a young, teenaged Dinah Lance in Birds of Prey. In the absence of Ruby Rose’s identical twin, she should do just fine in Batwoman. I liked her in Lost Girl. I wouldn’t be surprised if she had been among the actresses considered to play Batwoman before they settled on Rose.

This is a highly unlikely scenario unless there is some dramatic change in management at the Walt Disney Company. Besides, James Gunn is now otherwise engaged by Warner Brothers, who have basically opened the DC franchise to him and said, “Take your pick! Do anything you want here.”.

Well, David Mazouz is still only 17 years old according to all sources. He’ll be 18 later this month, but Gotham wrapped in December. IRL, he’s only about 5'8', and pretty wiry, which isn’t too unusual for a teenager, but nobody should be playing a fully fledged Batman at 17 anyway. He shouldn’t be played by anyone

In fairness, not everyone actually can grow a ‘stache that bushy. I have seen McKenzie on the set at the end of a very long day and he didn’t even have a hint of a 5 o’clock shadow. I expect that he would have to go with a false mustache, and even the best of those can look pretty fake.

And here’s the inevitable side-by-side:

Aside from the aforementioned alliteration (reason enough) it was probably because Jack Kirby created them in the early 1970s and it was probably seen as progressive at the time.

It’s like that Edie Falco has already been shooting on the Avatar Sequels for months, and might even be finished at this point. Producers and Studios have a longstanding habit of announcing that stars are going to join a project long after they have already been working on them.

I don’t think that this is news at all. I thought it had been fairly well known for a while that Ant-Man And The Wasp was going to be the last MCU movie to be available on Netflix.

I don’t need to see a Lost revival. That show had a definitive end. With all of its flaws, I still loved it, but I don’t need to see a new version. Make a great new, complex multi-season, multi-character mystery show with some other context.

Again, like Cavill, Affleck had to deal with the shitty version of Batman that he was handed. He might not have been my first choice, but I would like to have seen what he might have done with a more classic version of Batman, maybe more of a detective, and not a Frank Miler-style murder Batman.

There was an episode of the Superman animated series (New Kids in Town) where Melissa Joan Hart, Jason Priestly and Chad Lowe played Legionnaires visiting young, pre-Superman Clark Kent in the past but then mind wiping him. Then there was a sort of back-door pilot in the last season of  JLU (Far From Home) where

Well, a Batman has been spoken of but has yet to be seen, and there is indeed a Batwomanthe only member of the Batman “family” who has the least amount of connection to or history with any of the other family members like any of the Robins, Commissioner Gordon, Barbara Gordon, any of the other Batgirls, etc. She is

I don’t think you will see too much duplication of characters in the TV world at DC. Traditionally, they are very parsimonious about having duplicate characters in the TV and movie realms. For example, I don’t think that you would see a Batwoman series in the works if Gotham weren’t in its last season right now. That

I don’t know why anyone doubts that a third GOTG movie is login to happen. It is not James Gunn’s personal Intellectual Property. It is still a Marvel franchise, and the last film set up a substantial amount of material to be explored in future installments. Most moviegoers have no idea that there was a rift between

Any movie can suck.
