Just so you know, Season 2 of The Punisher has indeed been shot in New York City along with all of the other Marvel Netflix shows this past year. They finished a few months ago. I know because I saw the background casting calls for it on a nearly daily basis. The production name was “Crime”. They all use code names to

The folks at Daredevil definitely didn’t see it coming when they filmed the final episode last March. All indications had them confidently planning for Season 4.

I don’t know that anything is a “given” with these shows besides that they are all effectively cancelled at this point. Do you know some unannounced information that nobody else does? It’s all fan and press speculation. I don’t think that Marvel knows yet what they are going to do with these shows, especially since

It’s not too far from the way Aquaman was characterized in Batman: The Brave & The Bold. I mean, that was a broad, comical cartoon, but the attitude was kind of similar —and that’s not a slam. The DC animated shows often nail the superhero characters far better than the films have.

So, clearly, Netflix really is done with this Marvel project as many predicted while some of us hoped they were just scaling it down. I expect cancellations for Jessica Jones and The Punisher will be announced a few weeks after they drop, if they aren’t simply promoted as ‘final seasons’ at this point. Jessica Jones

How do you see them as being two different things?

Darth Maul was a character introduced in The Phantom Menace, one of the main Star Wars movies. Despite the fact that I never want to see that movie again, I remember who he was even though I have no idea about his exploits on the TV shows. This was not a TV crossover, but a callback from a previous film.

I wouldn’t make that assumption. I think that they were canceling the shows that they weren’t happy with. Iron Fist has had a weak reception from the first season, and I understand that the problem with Luke Cage was a dispute over the number of episodes in season 3. Netflix only wanted 10, and Disney wanted to do 13

And Maria Hill, three times. And then there was Maximiliano Hernandez as Agent Sitwell, also Powers Boothe’s character, Henry Goodman’s Dr. List from Avengers: Age of Ultron & the Winter Soldier post-credit & a couple of Hayley Atwell/Agent Carter flashback cameos.

Clearly she is better at playing crazy and evil than the simpering girlfriend. I have played a background Gotham City Detective on the show, and a couple of seasons ago, we saw her shadowing the director for an episode. We didn’t usually see Barbara Kean at the police station, so clearly she had directing ambitions.

Also missing is Beware the Batman. Not a smash hit, but at least interesting enough to be given a chance.

I hate that costume. It relates to nothing except somebody’s idea that Wonder Woman should be dressed more modestly. I would have hoped that it would have been changed after the comics shifted to a version that looks more like the DCEU film costume, but someone at DC Animation seems to want to hang on to it. Having WW

I always think of the 1975 TV movie with Richard Chaimberlain, Louis Jourdan & Tony Curtis.

In the approximate words of Fran Lebowitz: “Donald Trump is a tourist’s version of a rich person”

In fairness (not that the loathsome Trumps would ever return the consideration), if you watch the whole video, it is clear that it is only one hallway in the White House that serves as Melania’s Walkway Of Red Terror And Death. The rest of the White House decorations would seem to be decked with classically garish

There were so many problems with Suicide Squad that making the villain Steppenwolf would not have fixed it in any way. The main problem was a weak script laden with pop songs that were supposed to do the work that decent writing would have done. Was it Cara Delevigne’s bad acting that ruined the movie? Who can say?

It doesn’t mean that Julie Andrews approached them unsolicited . More likely, Safran reached out to her people, got an unexpectedly positive response and so they didn’t pursue anyone else. It’s not like Julie Andrews called Warner Brothers and asked, “Please, how can I be in your movie?”.

Eric is too pretty to be evil.

Now, let’s be clear about something: Everyone on True Blood was attractive to the point of ridiculousness, and that almost made the show unwatchable more than once.

So, I haven’t really been following this very closely, but Godzilla King of Monsters is coming out in 6 months, and they are filming a Godzilla vs. Kong movie right now?
