Far be it from me to contradict Mark Millar, but he’s completely wrong, and there have been enough genuinely good movies about DC Superheroes to prove him so. At this point, DC’s and Marvel’s characters are more alike than they are different.

I don’t see how you could do a Batgirl movie without having properly established a more defined Bat-family. Who are the Robins? Do we get a Batfleck movie first? DC/WB needs to stop putting the cart before the horse, and clean its slate with a good Flashpoint movie and start again keeping the things that work (Gal

That relationship between Okoye and W’kabi is one area where audiences really had to fill in the blanks. We were never fully shown what the specifics of their relationship were.

It’s essentially a version of his New 52 look, so I’m guessing that there will be some CGI lightning shimmering on his chest à la Ryan Reynolds’ Green Lantern outfit.

When Shuri sees Everett Ross she mentions that T’Challa has brought her “another broken white boy to fix” which confirms that Bucky has been in Wakanda during the duration of the movie, and that the modern section of  Black Panther picks up right after all of Captain America: Civil War.

If DC and WB really do a Flashpoint movie, than that is a clear opportunity.

Oh please, that song is only slightly less overused than “Hallelujah”.

Sony owns Homecoming. Marvel co-produced it.

That’s what we thought about Thor, but then came Thor: Ragnarok, and now they are talking about a possible 4th Thor movie with Taika Waititi. You can always change the profile of a character with a different directorial point of view. A lot depends on what Doctor Strange’s role is Infinity War and Avengers 4, and how

Chadwick Boseman is probably under contract for at least 6 movies of which 2 have been released and two more have been filmed (Avengers 3 & 4). That leaves potentially two more Black Panther movies. he is likely to get a raise and bonuses for future movies given the phenomenal box office last weekend, but the fabled

The latest I have heard about the Marvel/Sony deal is that Sony will fully own the Marvel Studios produced stand-alone Spidey movies and then Marvel Studios will be allowed to use Spider-Man as much as they want to in Avengers movies or even other MCU films. That would allow him to have as important a role in Avengers

I enjoyed the first book, and obviously the movie was deeply flawed and misbegotten. If they do a TV adaptation, I hope they can do it faithfully, which may include a bit of anti-church sentiment that may not go down too well. I found the second and third books dense and confusing, so I wouldn’t mind seeing them well

I feel like this movie has broken so many barriers that it brings an expectation that it will break down every single one all at once! I don’t know where the Okoye/Ayo story comes from, but Okoye clearly has another love interest in the movie, and it’s a male character. Flirting with Ayo might only create confusion on

I’m not familiar with he comic book origin of Vibranium, but the fact that the movie points to a giant meteor as its source suggested to me that it may be infinity stone connected. The movie is pretty clear that the powers from the heart shaped flowers derives from vibranium-infused earth, and the metal has qualities

If I’m not mistaken, there was a point where Marvel’s financial situation was so dire that it was almost bought by Time Warner or Warner Communications (or whatever it was at the time) which would have put DC and Marvel under the same roof. It seems inevitable that those characters would have been merged into one

Oh no, people. If you didn’t experience the legend that was Farrah Fawcett’s hair in real time, you may never understand. You don’t just fake it with a wig if you want to even attempt that style. She even had her own shampoo brand. To say that Farrah’s hair was the “Rachel” of the 1970s is understating it. It was like

Hey, don’t be trash talking Brandon Routh and Nick Zano. They showed up. They looked cute, and I’m fine with that.

Farrah’s hair was like its own character on Charlie’s Angels, but in order to have Farrah’s hair, you have to have Farrah’s haircut, which Caity might not have wanted to do for just one episode. It would have looked great on her though . . .

Haley Atwell was co-lead in Captain America: The First Avenger and has appeared in at least for other MCU movies. Clark Gregg was invited but couldn’t make it. I don’t think anyone was invited who has only appeared on the TV shows. That’s the TV/Film divide as it refers to this photo.

No argument with the looks, but it might be a good idea to cast someone who can actually act.
