I HATED GTAIV's story. It was the first time the narrative dissonance in a game truly ruined my enjoyment of it. Not until the DLC add-ons did I even like GTAIV, as their stories matched the type of game I was actually playing.

My mistake for assuming this article was about the atmosphere and gameplay and not just the novelty of connecting the game to outmoded technology and watchings its title screen.

I bet the gameplay would've truly felt desperate and jury-rigged and captured the dystopian atmosphere.
