No, 1080p 30FPS on PS4. So looks like Destiny may be the first parity game between consoles...

Yeah I had the same exact question. I had the stream muted while I was watching this, so I don't know if the presenter explained it. Would be kinda cool if it was co-op...

Well...when you think about it, all Etsy merchants are basically just virtual street vendors...

In my opinion, one of the most enraging points about this is now OVR is in real danger of simply being warehoused by FB, and never seeing a consumer release. Up until now, all we've had are dev kits, with the promise of an official product at some point in the future. Now with FB in control, they don't have the

Yes, but I don't think any QB in the history of the game could have pulled their team back from such a catastrophe. The Broncos got blown out, and Manning still managed to set positive records on the game.

So when the game is done...is it supposed to be a MMO? The Steam page has it labeled as "Massively Multiplayer", but all the game is right now is a bunch of pub servers. Is it always going to be like that? Just random servers and you only play on one map at a time? Or will they eventually link all the maps together in

Ok, so you're a PvE-er, and you don't like the PvE combat in GW2. That's understandable, as most bosses are just DPS-to-win. But really, PvE bosses in any MMO are just tests to see how well you can follow instructions.

Removing the trinity was not a bad thing. In fact, it's a model I think every MMO going forward should follow. The bad part of your experience is the enemy/boss design. There are bosses that do require you to coordinate your actions...but unfortunately most of them you can just DPS to win.

I'm a little confused...When you played GW2, did you only do PvE? Is that what you are basing your combat/gameplay opinion on? Because while I can agree most of the PvE combat does not require a lot of involvement from the player, PvP and WvW do.

I've always thought Dare was the superior song to The Touch, even when I was a little kid.

I don't think anyone is comparing the price model to a single-player experience, we are comparing it to other MMO offerings. The most direct competition this game has in the market right now is Guild Wars 2, which has proven (very successfully) that a subscription model is unnecessary. And even with the no-sub model,

Joel was annoying in parts, but tolerable.

Yeah, my wife still has problems remembering this. It's not a very intuitive thing, especially when the 360 basically did the same thing by just saying "Xbox" to highlight all on-screen commands.

This is kinda a newb question, but I can't find a solid answer online...If you buy a disc-based game for the XBone, after installing to the hard drive, can you play it without the disc in the drive?

Keep it and sell later, after black friday. I don't know why everyone is trying to sell their consoles right now, this is historically the worst time to sell them, between the launch date and black friday...This is always when the prices are lowest.

Do we have any information on 3rd party pads that will have proper bumpers? Since I first read of this, I'm holding off on getting a 2nd pad until I see more options out there.

My HTPC isn't anything special, a Core 2 Duo 2.5GHz, 4GB RAM, and I just put an nvidia GT 430 in it recently to play 3D movies on my TV. It's also my media server with about 6TB of storage attached to it.

It will actually be faster than remote play, if both computers are attached to the same wired network. I already have a setup like this running with an HTPC and splashtop viewer. There is a little image compression during fast game scenes, but I'm actually amazed how well it has worked.

Only temporarily, until the day before launch (21st). They basically didn't want people on Live before the official rollout, which is perfectly understandable.
