Hmm. What about the walls? Were they properly sealed? I have lived in a few places in which the wrong sealant/paint was used and the walls would absorb and retain moisture in the bathroom.

I know the fan is venting properly because when it’s running my mirrrors don’t fog up. The few times that I forget to turn it on during the shower it fogs up.

You can also use the shower squeegee on the girlfriend, too.

My apt came with a removable shower head. I use it to get the soap off the curtain and wall and when I’m done showering a quick wipe with the squeegee.

I don’t know about never needing to clean it again, but I’m going on 4 years since I last scrubbed down my tile and shower doors, and they’re still shiny. The squeegee tip has legs.
