As an animator, I think visually it is the weakest out of the 90's canon. As a movie? It is by far the best in terms of story, character, acting, and pacing.

I dig it, actually. Very "Return to Oz."

I actually like the idea of a Queen competing for a chance to return. I just thought the actual "Conjoined Twin" challenge was a pretty bad way to go about it.

I think it is more that when things get tense — she shuts down. She has mentioned more then once that she had an aggressive abusive father and she just might not deal well with actual fighting.

Never forget "Twinks for Trump."

As someone who's ambitions outstrips his capabilities I was REALLY feeling for Adore when she said "I don't belong here."

I don't get it either. He looks like sculpted peanut butter.

I started reading the AV Club because I saw their "Glee" reviews that had pretty active and intelligent discussion in the comments.
I finally started commenting here on the "Savage Love" articles because that specific comment section is really amazing.
The "Gameological" articles are also really refreshing and mature

Well, you do actually catch the "God" of the Pokemon universe in the games so… it isn't super off base.

All joking aside — it actually kind of is. Drawing adult work allows you to develop a devoted following where you get to call the shots. If you are in the right niche, people just throw money at you. You can also make some pretty decent contacts that can get you industry jobs later on.

and this is why so many animators draw porn on the side for extra cash

to clarify, my drag queen comment was "Drag Race" reference. Not dig at Mary Jo Pehl who I absolutely adore.

But a mediocre drag queen.

PEARL IS COMING BACK???

He violated the twitter TOS. Like, he did it a lot all the time very publicly.

All I really have to add to the discussion is that "Night Time, My Time" is a pretty cool album.

My personal favorite is "Don't Hug Me I'm Scared 4." The one with the computer.

The thing about "Don't Hug Me, I'm Scared" is that the humor is not really the meat of it. It's a nice garnish, but it's much more about a narrative.

What I love most about "Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared" is how hard they commit to the visuals.

Plus, in my experience, you can't really help to change shitty people unless they really truly want to change. It's a decision that has to come from within and no one can force it to happen.
