Me and my boyfriend recently sat through the entire Goosebumps television series. It was very goofy, and oddly washed out and gray despite them trying really hard to make it colorful. Super 90's and super Canadian so that is like ultra mega 90's.

As someone who does 3DCG work the visual fidelity of this thing is quite impressive. The simplest and clean things are often some of the hardest things to do but they pull it off with aplomb.

Every time I see the commercial for this thing and that guy goes "And NOW my junk is ORANGE" I have never wanted to punch a person more.

It tries far too hard while feeling like they have absolutely no idea with what direction they want to take the show. I think Gumball does weird meta absurdistst humor much better, and is also miles more visually creative.

A show aimed at children doesn't have to be awful.

So, who else is getting sick of CN trying to turn Uncle Grandpa into it's next big show? They smoosh all of the AT, RG, and SU into one quick promo but Uncle Grandpa gets it's own day, is promoted constantly, is half the bumpers, and two if it's characters host a programing block.

I have to admit, they seem to be building up to SOMETHING. There just seems to be this heavy air to the show that something is coming.
