I mean, It wasn't like Adventure time had an inconsequential but entertaining first season where it was trying to build a world and establish character relationships where basic storylines were recycled.

I love me some Molly Ringwald. I had to suffer my sister's obsession with Secret Life of an American Teenager and she was one of the two actors who could manage to talk like they weren't a fat man getting up.

I despise Roar, but not because the song sounds bad. I despise it because it has been a long time since I heard song so completely devoid of any kind of meaning. It is like The Secret in song form.

Yeah, she has great control over her pitch and a surprisingly wide range but she has a tendency to go all mushmouth.

Which is sad, because their album is also quite a nice pop record.

it is a really cohesive album. It is just a delight to listen too.

I agree, but Beyonce is in her own class now man.

I love La roux as well. I hope her new album comes out soon.

They made utterly bizarre choices. It is camp and weird and that is why people who like the dub like it. Narmcharm

I would say the same, but it was more of a slow death. La Roux was when I really first noticed it myself.

I quite like Halcyon, it was a huge step up. Her voice fits the dream-like opera quality of it. The updated version isn't TOO bad. I quite like Goodness Gracious even though my brain tells me I shouldn't (although it sounds much better live.) and Tessellate is a good cover that takes advantage of her vocal control and

Sailor Moon is popular too. English dub, we except no substitutes.

Happens to me all the time!

It is one of the default albums I listen to when I work. What is funny is that Lorde is huuuuuuuugly popular in the Bear community. Lorde seems to really speak to fat hairy gay men. Me included!

It is pop with a brain and self-awareness that doesn't get lost up it's own ass. I get to have it all! Lorde, you treat me so nice baby.

Pop is a very insular world where you have to have a very specific type of image to exist in it a certain eras. For the past two and a half decades female popstar had to be thin, or stacked and have the face of a model.

It was more just like… popular rap is like THE genera that made excess wealth and luxury a major trope in it's song writing. Everyone else just writes about sex or breaking up,

I'll never get tired of this song myself. in fact, the whole album of Pure Heroine is a really well done pop album. If you liked Royals but are sick to death of the song, than I would give RIbs, White Teeth Teens, A World Alone, and Bravado a listen. Those, for me, are the best songs.

So, you want to tear into someone for disagreeing with you than get upset that people tear into you for your opinion.

IMO I think that is probably about as well as the whole attempted rape thing could have gone.
