A movie doesn't necessarily have to challenge someone's perspectives for it to be a good film. It helps, but they don't always go hand in hand

My experience was a little different - I went to Camp St Maur in Atchison KS, and while it's still being labeled as a 'Catholic Boys Summer Camp', you really only go to church at the beginning of the week, and that's the extent of religious activies (unless you count saying grace before meals).

there's a difference between 'taking into consideration' and 'freaking the fuck out'… and if he really did take it into consideration and not just apologize for yelling, I would assume things would've been more patched between Cenac and Stewart

I think his reaction was pretty fucked up to be honest. It's a shame Cenac had to leave simply because he felt uncomfortable about a pretty serious situation

I think people are missing the point that this guy was the only black writer on the show at the time, with that being the case, nobody acknowledged that he might not be the only one who would feel uncomfortable about that impression.
