The unfortunate thing about deception being so core to sales...people that lie sell more than honest reps. Someone can talk all they want about an honest rep building a base that come back to them, but that is such a long-game that a rep will have already been chased out/performance-managed by the time that has taken

Wouldn’t it be a thing of beauty if the Roe v. Wade overturn was the domino that started the downfall of the MAGA movement and the implosion of the Republican party as we know it?

That’s just the thing...for tourism it works well. But there isn’t enough tourism into the Cities area itself to come even close to paying for the construction, so it is pitched as an alternative to driving. BUT, there is already a robust bus system (just watch the main downtown lanes during the day and watch the

I think part of the issue is that there is a lack of willingness to redesign cities when you can just slap up poorly designed transit train that costs way too much. In the Minnesota/Minneapolis area there are numerous well-designed bus routes from the suburbs bringing people into the city for work. Now, as an example,

As a very tall person it is incredibly frustrating that almost all cars have a sunroof/moonroof. SUVs usually have plenty of headroom, but withsmaller cars almost all use them (minus the base model like you said), and it chops out several inches of headspace in the car.

I loved the concept of technology to help staying in lanes, until it didn’t. Minnesota summer, a.k.a. road construction season, leaves lane shifts and line-repainting in various states of completeness.  I was driving to work with the Ford lane-keeping system and it started shifting me towards a concrete construction

What’s to say that the slower charging car got there and all of the slower chargers were taken. Should they not charge because someone that charges faster may arrive?

Retail credit cards will commonly have ridiculously high rates because they will offer 0% interest for a set period of time. But, if you miss or are late on one single payment you get hit with the 24.99-29.99% interest that has all been gathering in the background, waiting for the screw-up.

My “Made in America!” uncle was mocking me for my Toyota. I gladly showed him the tab inside my door showing it was made in Indiana and laughed at his facial expression.

Same here. I had a a driver assist program start jerking me out of the lane in a construction zone in MN. Considering that Minnesota has two seasons, winter and road construction, I have kept it off ever since. There are just too many situations where they paint new lines over and across the old lines as they make

My problem with backing into spots has always been how terrible people are at it. If you insist on backing into a spot, but take 30-45 seconds to do it....just please stop.

“These politician’s voters and donors should be ashamed of themselves by enabling and allowing their loved ones to remain in office all to hold power. We are talking about our country’s national security and it’s all at stake!”

There, fixed that for her.

I have no problem with the whole responsibility schtick when it comes to a special reward like a trip to the amusement park or eating out or even desert, but preventing them from eating at all?  At normal meals?  Yeah, you’re an abuser.

I’ve had a road-rager tailing me before and following me everywhere.  I called 911 and then lead him directly to the police station.  He took off when we got to the parking lot, but by that time a squad was there watching for him.  I’ve NEVER been so appreciative of the calm voice at the end of that 911 call.

Every time I see a story about someone banned for marijuana I think of the Robin Williams skit about it...

I wouldn’t say that’s completely true in all states.  The example in this article of Texas definitely seems that way (especially when the end result is EV owners paying MORE than they would in the past), but all states will need to reevaluate how to generate tax income specifically for road maintenance if a gas tax

Minnesota, ANYWHERE, mid to late April. By this point there have been many thaw/freeze/thaw/freeze cycles where all but the newest roads have become pothole nightmares. Hit a bad one and kiss your wheel, shocks, or any other number of parts goodbye.

Who’s to say the EV doesn’t start TRYING to move once it is on the flatbed, causing some sort of devastating accident?

We just got a notification from our school district in MN that our 8-year-old’s stop is 2 blocks away (fine, whatever) at the student entrance to a local highschool. Small kids crossing the street in front of teenage drivers and parents that are already late for work?  What’s the problem?

That’s just the thing. If they accepted the card and then Tyrese went after them for unauthorized usage there’s another problem. When I worked for a big-box store many years ago that would occasionally get NFL players and their buddies or contractors, the store manager’s rule was “players card? player only.”
