I feel like I’m one of the few people complaining about how absolutely empty Spiderman 2 feels outside of the main story. Like yeah there’s a handful of side-missions but nowhere near what was available in Spiderman 1. Then again, I waited to play Spiderman 1 until after all the DLC was out.

I remember how much of a shit-show L4D2's launch was and how *furious* people were that it wasn’t being released as a content pack or similar.

But the problem is they’re not new games. It’s the same game with “ultra” settings enabled and repackaged to sell more units at base cost to (potential) new customers. It’s transparent as all hell which is why it doesn’t sit right with most folks
