At PAX West they had a booth of PCs with this, so I thought I’d try it after all the mixed reviews. The story mission I played was pretty straightforward, but at the end it seemed to glitch out, saying I needed to eliminate all the enemies. However, there were no enemies left on the map. If I strayed too far from the

The quick switcher is handy for swapping between games and, say, Netflix or Hulu or whatever. Since our PS5 is our main media box as well, we use it just as much for those apps as the games, and having to go to the home screen, swap to the media tab, then scroll to the app we want to launch is mildly tedious compared

I was almost more excited about the Masked Carnivale offering a new way to earn Allied Seals for mount speed increases in 2.0 areas than about the new job itself.

So like you said, Kirk's review of Destiny was later than other publications' and it was a pretty great review overall. Will you be taking this approach with more games in the future, whether they're single or multiplayer? For example, I have no idea when Ubisoft is giving you Assassin's Creed Unity to review, but if

They've had a Video Games section in Arts for quite a while, and were running video game reviews before that. They've felt they're relevant for a while now.

Dairy Queen pro-tip: order a cocoa fudge milkshake. Not a chocolate milkshake. Not a hot fudge milkshake. Specifically get a cocoa fudge shake. It will blow your mind.

The Dragon Age team stated they stopped work on a Dragon Age II expansion in order to focus on Dragon Age III instead ([social.bioware.com]) Since at their PAX East panel it sounded like they were just getting started on concepting out DA3, this sounds a lot more likely to me.

If you want to replay cases or do side missions from an earlier desk, you'll need to put those discs back in, but when just following the story, you don't need to put the earlier discs in once you've completed them.

An adaptation of an existing work never ruins the original work. It's still there for you to enjoy and love.

@LedRush: RDR streamlines GTA4's combat while keeping the mission structure almost identical. Unlike GTA, RDR features tons of things to do outside of the main story. If those were your grips with GTA4, then sure, try out RDR.

@starbuck13: Since I separate by platform, I couldn't do that. Forgotten Sands would probably go after 2008's Prince of Persia, while the previous two would be in order of release in their own platform.

@starbuck13: Of course, concessions must sometimes be made. Rock Band 1 and 2 go together, followed by The Beatles Rock Band and Lego Rock Band for 360. For PSP, Final Fantasy I and II are followed by Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII. I also ignore the "Tom Clancy's" prefix on the Ghost Recon and Rainbow Six games.

@PajamaSam: If anyone could solve the Riddle of how to make a good game out of it, these guys could.

@MrSnuffles: Because the hard drive isn't considered hardware, it's considered an accessory, and MS marks accessories up to make up for the hardware losses. It's the same reason why the wireless adaptor is $100.

I remember one justification for the points system was that it allowed Microsoft to avoid credit card fees on tiny transactions (think Avatar items now).

They've been on sale for a while now. I have my registration confirmation from September 8th sitting right next to me. #paxeast2010

It kind of sucks that a major plot point like that is shown in the trailer. Mass Effect 2 did the same thing. Why is this happening more frequenly?

Was there any mention of a PC version?
