The first thing that you learn as a film actor (or video, or a person who presents on a screen) is to NOT move your arms and hands like we do IRL (or stage actors are more wont to do). Gesturing wildly is extremely distracting, and just looks, well.... silly. Might as well do jumping jacks too.
