My name is German and one freaking syllable long, and it never fails to amaze me that almost everyone gets it wrong. I live in WI, where there’s German EVERYTHING here, and people still don’t get the pronunciation right.

My in-laws were just in New Orleans and were telling me about this incredible Halloween parade they stumbled across there. It sounded amazing, and I don’t even like parades.
