I’ve noticed that too. I might actually have some respect for him if those kind of jokes actually critiqued/made fun of racial or social issues rather than just making fun of women.

Michael Ian Black is the best. Right after the election, he released a short statement on his How To Be Amazing podcast that I felt perfectly summed up the anger and disappointment and reality of it all, yet still had some shred of hope in it. It was cathartic to hear.

Somebody needs to tell my neighbor this. Her poor dog has separation anxiety or something and just howls and howls and barks whenever he’s left alone. Which is apparently all goddamn day and every weekend.

Not to mention some people are afraid or have a phobia of dogs. (Not that you can totally avoid dogs in public, but I think it’s reasonable to believe you won’t encounter any dogs while eating at your favorite restaurant.)

I come here for your saltier takes on these issues. It’s one of the best parts of this column.

Yes! The pants I’m currently wearing just have these stupid fake pockets, and one tiny little coin pocket up front. Most of the pants I find seem to have this, and I have to resort to stowing things in my back pockets. Which is not a good look for anyone with a bubble butt.

There usually are different pant lengths available for women, just not nearly as many as men’s pants. Usually you’ll see petite, average, and tall.
