yeah, it definitely wasn't perfect, but the second half of the season felt so much tighter and more consistent, like they'd consciously addressed a lot of the issues from last year. they really found their footing and it's a damn shame there won't be any more.

that quote has gotten SO much mileage and i love it every single time

i will not stand to watch someone cast aspersions on grease 2!

eh, moms existed in that back then

i wanted to enjoy hitch, but i got to that scene where he tried to impress eva mendes with ellis island records about her ancestor and she went to pieces because the guy was a mass murderer or something, and i noped outta there.

they did a whole plot about hollywood making a movie about them and stephanie got upset because pam anderson was considered to play the character based on her. she even got to speechify about body types. in light of that, it's a little hilarious they chose an actress with the exact same proportions as the other babes.

well back then burt reynolds was considered something of a dish

*sings* you could be swingin' on a star

i'm surprised this doesn't mention how this isn't just a trope for cancer plots, it's pretty much required. i can't even think of any character who's been put through chemo who hasn't had that head-shaving scene.

hot take: keri russell looked beautiful with short hair and the fact that it lost them ratings is deeply bizarre

also due to a killing that was outside the regular pattern because the killer did it all himself.

they split reichenbach up between the three Ms. moriarty got to fake her death and devastate her loved one, mycroft got the fake death to go underground, and morland got to take moriarty's empire down piece by piece.
