As a larger individual myself, I have no issue with the fat suit here. It’s not being used to transform a skinny person, it’s being used because it would be insane to have anyone actually gain 600 pounds.

That trailer just made me smile so whole heartedly. I’m fully on board and cannot wait for this show to arrive.

Celeborn has been confirmed for season 2 of the show. I currently expect that they’ll run with his oldest backstory as a Nandorin elf from Lórien, and move their meeting to the Second Age.

After 3 episodes, I love what this show does with Tolkien’s world so far. It looks amazing, I like the characters so far, and I’m curious to see where it goes, what would be the end point of this season. I’ve read LOTR, Hobbit and Silmarillion, so I know where this is going in Tolkien’s books, but looks like the show

The Gray Havens are not to the west of Middle-earth. They are a harbor  city within Lindon, also called Mithlond.
