FUCK THIS PLANET.
20 years from now, when Gotham is nothing more than dust and we look back on how bizarre and pointless this show ultimately was, I’m pretty confident that Robin Lord Taylor will still be regarded as the very best part of the show. His casting was great right from the get go and the show seems to understand how great…
christ, what a shithow that was. RIP AV Club.
I always thought Don and Betty Draper were perfect for each other because if you take away the good looks and money, it’s easy to see that they’re just horrible people. They deserve each other.
You can say “But His Emails”, though.
He can finally be reunited with his real dad.
Politico also mentions that the subject line of all of those emails is, “Why Mike Judge is the king of the pop-culture hill: An illustrated timeline”.
So, “Lock him up?”
What about my post makes you think that?
What I like about Gotham is it doesn’t take itself too seriously either.
You are talking about “Gotham” like it is supposed to make sense.
I wish io9's Rob Bricken would still post his delirious Gotham reviews.
Not to say yours aren’t love, Kyle, but I don’t have the patience to take this ludicrous show seriously.
Yeah, it’s not like people on the internet would complain at all if the actors were a little too old to play the characters. That’s never happened.
Barb’s death was pretty much ignored by every character in the show. The show’s fans started to demand “justice for Barb” to compensate for how glossed-over her character was.
So I literally just finished watching Stranger Things (I was busy the last 14 months) and I have to say, it was pretty good. Not the greatest thing ever made, but much like the IT movie, Stranger Things seem to hugely benefit from it’s amazing child actors.
Every time one of these stories come up I stop and appreciate how alternatively baller/stressful these kids’ lives must be. Like, I’m sure this level of fame garnered this fast is a huge toll on their mental health, but at the same time, if I was 13 and hanging out with Mark Hammill and McFarlane Toys was making…
“every time you have a show that relies so heavily on the charm of kids, you want to capture that,”
To me he gave the only even passable adult performance in that film. Tim Curry is rightly remembered as amazing, and some of the kids were ok, but the adults mostly sucked.
Karlie Kloss has the best walk among these batch. I guess she’s the only one that really was a model from the start.
