“What’s black and white and red all over?”
“What’s black and white and red all over?”
Speaking of another meta irony, Eddie spends the first two seasons aggressively Nice Guying Kristen Kringle only to spend the rest of his career turning down overinterested romantic partners with disgust?
“Boy, I love seeing that woman LOSE :3 “
Maybe because I watched it for the first time in my late 20s, but anyone who defends Duckie from Pretty in Pink beyond “He was kind of a mess but we’re all children of God” way raises my hackles. God, he was an annoying creep.
Oh God, I can’t be futzed to even pretend to care. I watch Gotham for campy stylish villains, not watered down Sopranos drama.
Her and Oswald, both of them barely tall enough to ride adult roller coasters, squaring off made me smile. Her heels were killer.
My growing skepticism of Fourth wave feminism equating purchasing strength with actual equality has lead to a personal tinfoil hat skepticism of marketing companies using buzzwords like “feminism, representation, and strength” to shield mediocre films like Ghostbusters and Wonder Woman from criticism.
Oswald is such a brat this season, I love it. He got the “speak with your manager” attitude to go with the hair.
As a guilty pleasure viewer of Gotham, I’d agree that the Riddler seems the (comparatively) saner choice (and he can be oddly domestic), although his romantic partners have a 100% fatality rate.
That would be silly. Except that one episode where the Riddler took drugs and that happened.
Alfred pops in every now and then you be DILFy and then leaves.
Oswald got menaced by an overfiltered Snapchat from his ex. Relatable.
At least you didn’t have to wade through three seasons of bad Sopranos knock offs.
I discovered this trash show during its hiatus (actually because my now-boyfriend showed me a picture of his on-point Oswald costume) and I find I can’t help adore it. Well, parts of it: I fast-forward through the stilted young adult acting to get to the villains.
And Krysten Ritter will always be beautiful to me!
Down 2 Clown
I apologize in advance for being rude, but as someone who as also watched most of their Facebook feed do pretty identical “we’ve been dating 5+ years, living together for two, it’s time” marches down the aisle: what about the marriage makes it different than before?
