I don’t know if that’s true. Also, New Zealanders generally have a pretty low opinion of Americans. Our cultures are not similar.

I find this amazing, in fact hospitality staff here in New Zealand make much more than they would in the US and there is no compulsory tipping. He is such a bozo. Send him home.
