People throw trash into the bed of my (small, old, Japanese) pickup all goddamn day while I’m at work, even with a topper on they just open the window. I’m the opposite. I got a 25 mile commute each way, so I have a Civic that gets 40mpg highway, and a tundra with 230k miles on the clock off Craigslist for truck things. The math is different for everyone, so blanket “nobody should drive trucks” is dumb.
