There aren't too many "actioners" that go on a nature ramble round the Galapagos.

Kenny Darling has always been a fairly bland film maker, missing Frankenstein and Dead Again off his filmography also seems kind of convinient.
The issue with King Kong is that it's three hours long… Three hours.
The Hit is fantastic, I personally love The Grifters. Find it hard to believe that the same guy made those films ends up making The Queen and Tamara Drewe (not that I've seen either).
Dead Poets is really not for me… Makes the bile rise just at the thought of it.
Chris McQuarrie and whoever the casting director was are what makes The Usual Suspects sing.
Singer has always been a mainstream film maker; you can see it in Public Access that he's highly competent rather than highly creative.
It's pretty good, really well cast but a little BBC cheap when it comes to the CGI.
Yup. It's Starfish Island….
I'm surprised there seems to be a lot of dislike for this movie in the comments. I think there's a lot to like; love the look of it and I really like the kids, rough edges and all.
If I'd seen this at the age it's aimed at I think I'd have gone nuts for it.
Fuck you I'll skate to the beach! And I'll look better gettin there!
I really dig that film, the Disney one has always been the Other Frozen.
I think you'll find The Hulk is a green dude. It's like his thing.
That's pretty interesting.
However, it also causes anybody of a certain age outside of the US to instantly think football. (Proper football, played with feet).
I don't get the love for The Americans. It's the very deifinition of "ok". Just about got through the second season, nothing really pulled me back for the third… So much so that I've only just realised season three never got picked up by the network that was broadcasting it here. Guess I wasn't the only one to tune…
My favourite Transatlantic transformation was Lovejoy becoming Al Swearegen.
After watching Johnnie To turn Johnny Hallyday into an awesome, unstoppable, although forgetful old man badass I reckon pretty much anybody can providing they have a director as good as that.
Nice. Used to see the Lost Souls an awful lot back in the late 80's on the local live music scene. Always had a soft spot for that upright bass.
They should do another remake of Walking Tall with Idris Elba. He could play the club.
That's a really interesting take. I've not seen it since it came out and was in the Spielberg has come down with a nasty dose of botched endings camp. A friend recently saw this for the first time and had a proper rant about how worthless a piece of shit this fucking movie is. Liking an argument I was considering…
I think I'd swap A Field In England out for either Kill List or Sightseers.
