The sinking bit.

On the whole I enjoyed these three episodes, but it's all a bit all mouth no trousers. Characters are great, and on the whole I'm a fan of Moffats structural showing off. But I'd really like some more meat to the "cases", they seem to play second fiddle (violin) to all the trickology. Caught myself looking at my watch

A friend of my sister managed to go see Titanic un-spoiled. I shit you not.

The Usual Suspects spoiled Se7en for me in a way. They were released about 6 months apart and I recognised Spacey as the photographer on the stairs.

The second page has the line "I know this because Tyler knows this"

Nah, Memento is cool second time around. It's so well structured, you just watch and appreciate it in a different way. Even watching the chronological edit is interesting.

Please come to England. Please come to England. Please come to England…

All riding that classic Studio 1, Alton Ellis' I'm still In Love With You riddim.

That's 2 Tone, late 70's early 80's.
Original skins stuff was late 60's early 70's.

I'm amazed there's a whole generation who first catch Chase The Devil via GTA rather than Out of Space by the Prodigy.
I'm older than dirt.

Nice I've not heard that. Similar tip are the Nextmen's Blunted In The Backroom and Madlib's Blunted in The Bomb Shelter. Think they were on Antidote rather than Trojan but all Trojan release tunes.

That 90's reissue of Pick a Dub on Blood & Fire was amazing.

It's pretty much my favourite record of all time.

Warning, this subject and me may induce TLDR.

You know Congo Natty is the Rebel MC… rough like a ninja, stinging like a bee.

If you thought the 80's were dark, where were you for the super miserable 70's? Survivors, Doomwatch, Blakes 7…

Man I can't wait for this to eventually surface in the UK, been a couple of years since I've had a new Kitano in my life.
Anyone up on why he stopped working with Joe Hisaishi? That was such a fantastic partnership.

Maybe 2014 will be the year I finally watch Forrest Gump?

Go… Eagles!

It's pretty varied, you've got representation from all over the Caribbean so style wise it's pretty fluid; ska, calyso, jazz, funk, mambo, soca etc
