I got the Cake reference on the first listen, but the wordplay based on the concept revealed itself to me later.
It took me a few days after hearing Mouth Moods to realize that the title of “The Starting Line” referred to how all the samples are literally the starting lines of their respective songs. Gave me a chuckle.
Though it’s probably an honest typo, “Trunp” made me smile. It’s like the rage face version of Trump.
“Some” derision? The guy bought the strip, kicked all the characters out, and sent Opus and Ronald-Ann to Outland!
