Have you heard the country version of "Tone Burst" on Refried Ectoplasm? It's an interesting low-key take on the song.

I picked up this album on a whim at a Salvation Army for cheap. I've added more from Stereolab since then. I've found their mix of vintage instruments and styles, plus the overbearing lyrics delivered almost like they're on a Sergio Mendes album, to be dependably soothing.
She'd have to fall forward on those, silly!
Whenever I read her name, I hear Carl Kasell's baritone in my head.
Exhibit A: "Hulkster in Heaven," which includes the lines I used to tear my shirt, but now you tore my heart. WUSC (the University of South Carolina college station) played it one day a few years ago, and mercifully took it off about halfway through.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III was apparently, to use a phrase I recall from the script, "a steaming puddle of puke."
That music, I want. Speed inconsistencies and all.
As a young'un, I attempted to write a novel that was entirely comprised of fictional chat room sessions in which a boy and girl meet-cute and form a romance that takes the girl from her crappy boyfriend. A running gag was that there'd usually be one guy trying to steer the room toward discussing how awesome Rammstein…
Needs more classical music at 78 RPM. But an admirable effort nevertheless.
When I was about eight(!) years old, I had a huge crush on two non-identical twin sisters at my elementary school. After being rejected by one of them, I was blubbering and morose for days. During this period, Mommy Digital was driving me to or from the local YMCA for day camp, and "Cryin'" came on the radio. Man, I…
My minor nitpick with the odometer plot was that the last digit switched from 9 to 0 to 1 in, what, 30 seconds or so? Assuming that the final digit represented single miles (since it was the same color as the other digits and Roger talked about hitting 100K), that'd mean Roger was driving about 120 miles an hour.
The Bob's Burgers production blog Behind Bob's Burgers posted a printable kit for building your own paper Shoshana: http://behindbobsburgers.co…
This was my reaction to the Quicky Kiss-it sequence. It's practically a loop already!
This inconsistency kind of bugged me too. The logo shown in the episode was clearly the double-bite Mapple logo that's appeared before in recent seasons, but they called it Apple throughout this episode. A real blunder for firing, that one.
A Bill Cosby performance of the verses from "Once in a Lifetime," with his sense of timing, might be amazing.
I saw a discarded skin mag at my bus stop in high school. It was open to an ad for the hotline 1-900-EAT-MUFF.
I attended a talk Laurie gave at RPI earlier this month. She was so upbeat, and a delight to meet. I'm glad she seems to be taking Lou's death so well. I look forward to seeing her again in November.
It doesn't like me to scroll past the top of the page on my phone, that's for sure.
Jí, c'mon. Business.
Don't forget Swag!
