I probably chime in this here A.V. Club with a variation of this comment twice a season, probably since Louise and Bob were making fun of movies on TV as "The Burn Unit."

@avclub-323ca7b091beb1b26cc7a2612f1475d5:disqus : But isn't Clemson far away from everything interesting already, making distance relative?

Too far for Gamecocks.

"Why do you call it the 'US' Festival?"

I thought from the headline that a recording had announced Eminem's new single on his behalf.

If that's true, then daaaamn.

I hope it's not in bad taste to alert those of us still on this mortal coil that AMC is streaming last Sunday's episode at http://www.amctv.com/breaki…. I noticed a lot of commenters were trying to figure out how to legally access the remaining episodes, so I thought I'd let y'all know there's a free option.

Speaking of which, AMC is streaming last Sunday's episode online, though you wouldn't know it from looking at the show's home page: http://www.amctv.com/breaki…

Note that Toro Y Moi took a couple of hard left turns with Underneath the Pine and Anything in Return, which bear little resemblance to Causers of This. He didn't stick with the chillwave label for very long.

I like how the apparent downbeat keeps shifting in "Milk It." And Dave Grohl's drumming, simple though it is on that track, is pretty commanding in it.

It's worth noting that In Utero, while not brickwalled, was still clipped slightly in its original CD release (based on Daddy Digital's '90s copy). I noticed this while going through various CD rips to compare dynamic range levels. Nevermind, however, seemed to avoid this problem.

I was even okay with the old reruns of Arthur C. Clarke's Mysterious World/Universe.

Look, who's giving the report? You chowderheads…or me?!

@Nudeviking:disqus : Who wants to know?

From the description in the article, and without actually listening to the song, I'm getting an "of Montreal, circa Skeletal Lamping" vibe.

I preferred the term "The Hitlery Channel."

Since Mrs. Digital and I came across it in 2007, I've eagerly looked forward to each new season of History Detectives. Antiques Roadshow used to be our lead-in program, so we got to like that show, too.

As a young'un, I used to mix up Bob Dylan and Bruce Springsteen. In my defense, I don't think I knew their music or history enough to realize the wide difference in both.
