I was fortunate to see an almost-midnight screening last Friday. It was a one-off event here, and it still sold out, with lots of seasoned Roomers.
I've also seen at least two of the That Guy with the Glasses / Channel Awesome reviews of The Room. It seems like a rite of passage for online video reviews of bad movies.
When I read "[Nathan's] lovely wife and AVC freelancer Kevin McFarland," I thought that clause referred to one person. First I was confused, then I thought it was an odd joke that didn't land, then I figured it out.
Mommy Digital says KFC Yum! Center resembles a chicken leg in repose.
Turn up the Eagles, the neighbors are listening…
Yum! used to be the shady-sounding Tricon.
I haven't heard the '80s remix of Cruising with Ruben & the Jets, but I have heard the '80s remix of We're Only in It for the Money. Awful, awful, awful. I'm glad that an approximation of the original mix was released on CD after the fan backlash.

…H, I gotta gal from Kalamazoo?
@avclub-303c766a6aaaebd9b283e62c7b2d3e10:disqus : Mrs. Digital once wrote "navy beans" on the list of perishables on our fridge whiteboard. I read it as "navy bears" and drew an ursine mariner with a cap saying, "Anchors aweigh! RAAAAWWRR!"
I noticed that too. It didn't sound too different from Linda, though (and as @avclub-5563808a5a6d487587d3881b9dc95153:disqus notes, perhaps that's intentional). I'm so used to Benjamin's similar (thought distinct) lead voices that his role as Jimmy Jr. really surprised me. It's good to know that he doesn't just voice…
