Duke Silver ain't no Steely Dan. William S. Burroughs can tell you that.
"Frank O'Hara Hit" was on an Insound sampler months ago, and when I heard it, I thought, "Dang, is this not Sonic Youth?" Then I found out Thurston was behind it and was not surprised.
@avclub-bca3531762af8a993c4f60c48fd5e33b:disqus has a good reason to get a watch—I don't like pulling my phone out and toggling the button to check the time, either. Also, if you're someplace without phone service or electricity, it's nice to have a device that doesn't rely on external electronic signals to calibrate…

I've been hoping for this to get released since I saw the teaser in 2011. I doubt there will be any response from Bill Watterson—Nevin Martell's Looking for Calvin and Hobbes includes the author's unsuccessful attempts to elicit any response from him through official channels—but I think the documentary will be worth…

Panache. That's it.
I still build snow goons.

While I consider the print quality of the strips to be much higher than the old paperbacks, I was disappointed that the hardback edition isn't sewn binding (it uses glue like paperbacks), and that the "textured" endpapers…
There are loads of Hobbes sewing patterns. It's a niche craft market.
I thought "panache" was pronounced as a compound of the English words pan and ache. Also, "a Thermos full of fledgim."
