I was already going to buy this but when Elsa Bloodstone appeared in the trailer I threw my wallet at my phone. 100% agreed. The best PS2 era FF is XII. 

Hot take: FFX was bad, and X-2 was worse. Both had good battle systems, weighed down by insufferable characters and writing like someone rolled a katamari through the anime section of TVTropes, and unskippable minigames out of a mid-2000s DVD extra.
