Well the sport plus mode makes nice popping noises through the turbo. So that is worth at least the additional $40k over the E46.
Simple answer - it’s less modern and more fun to drive than the M2, hands down where my money would go given a similar price range.

Seems odd to me for them to introduce the racing version first. The street version is only going to appear tame and pedestrian, by comparison, and I fear it might seem disappointing.

While the price may be fair given Audi corporate’s cost, BMW and Lexus offer FREE autocross and performance sprint/braking experiences in their cars. So for $1000 I get a limited amount of seat time on track and no full uninterrupted laps?
