News flash: no one’s buying the Porsches or Mercedes, either.

Some BOLD statements here...
The Vehicle Virgins guy always rubbed me the wrong way. too much silver spoon for my liking. It makes it hard to relate, and also comes across as pretentious.
There’s a photography trope that says, “the best camera is the one you have with you.” The idea is that the best photographs aren’t always the ones that are sharpest, or have the most accurate color, or the most megapixels; but rather the best photographs capture a moment that moves you, and those moments pass…
Will BMW marketing allow an MT performance variant with the M2 engine and less weight? Z3M from 1998-2002 -> Z4M from 2006-2008 -> ???
Given the fact that they bought it as soon as it came out, I assume they must have paid MSRP. So their cost is $35k + 6% tax = $37.1k in 2002 money, which is about $50k in 2017 money.
To the few cars that continue to drive around the semi on the shoulder... bystander effect or just terrible effing people? Glad all are safe hope the driver is found.
Me over here crunching the numbers on an 84-month car loan - there’s a chance if I cut out all non-essential expenses and/or live out of the car.
Do you even own a car? Clearly there was nobody in front of him, no driveways, and he stayed in his lane.
Suki?! Is that you??
I haven’t mentioned anything that isn’t over crowded now. It seems like every other weekend I am seeing a Corvette club that has caused a pileup on Woodside or some dipshit jabroni who has killed himself in a brand new 911 up on Skyline.
Yup - I was watching the first minute going, “Damn, I’ve driven up there...”
I would recommend the 2-series over a 1-series for two very simple reasons:
Certainly! Give 1-866-231-4269 a call and ask to be put on a waitlist for Thermal. If you don’t live too far away and don’t mind taking the risk, you can come day-of and be on standby before a session starts (arrive at 8am or 12pm) and we can easily sign you up if someone does not show, which actually happens 95% of…
Yeah same driving experience. Drag race on X5M, X6M, M6 (in GC and convertible trim). Timed hot laptop on M4 on a ‘short track’. Most fun of all IMO is instructor lead follow on M2/M3. Usually in groups of 3-4 cars and you only go as fast as the car ahead of you which could mean they’re scared and hang back or is on…
The pictures show some manual equipped cars. But the track day I went to was auto only. I still had a blast and the instructor was awesome. Can’t remember his name but his DD was a new ZO6 and he had a pristine E30 M3. Called the M3 his retirement plan. Hah.
We had a hot track for three hours, and the flexibility to drive as little or as much as we want. There were a few manual cars there, so it wasn’t hard to get to row my own.
Hey what car are you tracking? Is that cost mostly tires/pads/oil? Because the cost to track can vary remarkably between cars.
So how much seat time did you get cumulative and how hard were you able to push the cars? A regular track day in my own car sets me back $450-650, trying to gauge fun/$
Plenty of manufacturers invite folks out to play with their cars. The usual experience typically involves a driver…
