I feel like I’m looking at the last great one of a generation. Like, I’m in awe and incredibly sad. What a perfect machine. Its very modern. its not the fastest straight, on a track. Its roof isn’t terribly high tech. Its kind of split between many purposes, master of none.

As an owner of a 12C - I can tell you that value for dollar for people who've earned their income (and not given to them by inheritance etc...) is important. That 60k is a big difference. I make sure I get the best price for all my cars and to not buy something either beyond my means or beyond what I need or want…

Low center of gravity, rear weight bias, as much weight as possible, and graphite powder the heck out of the axles. Also, polish the axles to a mirror finish and smooth out the wheel hubs to reduce friction as much as possible.

No kidding. I'm a 911 fan, but the only thing that I want more than a 911 is a Boxster Spyder - I love that last get car, even though I hated the Boxster it was built on.
