If you cannot use your mirrors around the tiny Miata blind-spot you should not be on the road.

Present and accounted for - sorry for choosing the quieter and more livable RF.

Bingo - wife used to have one of these and it never knew what damn gear to be in. Atrocious infotainment setup as well.

I believe it was best summarized in a R&T or prior Jalopnik piece, it is not the car technology that becomes the ultimate barrier to entry for adoption but governing legislature and infrastructure.

Fire another engineer if there isn’t already hidden mounting points designed in from the factory :D

My wife tracks her Miata ND RF, organizations generally allow it in the beginner group. She’s getting faster though, I have approached a few outfits about creating a roll bar solution - it will be hard without sacrificing the entire interior.

As much as I would like it to be so, no - only the creme de le creme lower mileage examples are going for 35-40K. Market is on the move but not that fast.

Those roads are truly incredible in the fall. I had the privilege of driving them as the leaves turned this year - road tripping a recent purchase home from Charlotte.

Seriously - if I come across one of these limited edition BRZs in good shape for ~$16K I will have a minor crisis. Such a great platform, 55K miles on my 13' FR-S

The masochist in me really wants a non-M Z3 coupe to join my aging BMW collection - Oxford green or toothpaste green (what is that mint color called!?)

Is this the appropriate time for some self love!?

Can be had all day for $24-30K, a bargain if you ask me.

I rarely travel beyond the realm of Jalopnik, but this was a thoroughly enjoyable read! Plus he is a man who echoes my own travel ideals, minimal luggage and complication - just makes the experience much more enjoyable.

Keen builds a bitchin’ car and I hope he continues for years to come.

Do they get to spec said tire? Just saying, some Goodyear tires are $$$

Tom, you should know that folks can still order an F31 wagon until spring 2019! IIRC

The 228i (230i now) is a simpler platform with better weight balance and likely the one to become a future classic, if not M2 obviously. Don’t believe me, see all the journalists articles and my three year stint in a 228i.

A friend of mine created a powerpoint to convince his wife to allow purchase of a used NSX. He’s had the car in his garage for a few years now! Good luck

Mine is MT, but not m-sport. Thoroughly enjoying it thus far and keeps me from DD boredom. Adding a ZHP shift knob to smooth out the long throw and will refresh the suspension with Bilstein bits as needed

Bingo! All too excited after adding this to my garage, hell we are even contemplating a future second wagon purchase. Battle of the slightly used vs. next generation BMW/Jaguar/Volvo/Buick wagons?
