Here’s to hoping the 3-pedal madness is just an elaborate ruse and we see an MT version in those “regular updates” they are so excited about.

Agreed - undecided on the front end. Perhaps a darker color will mute some of the over-designed areas.
So I am see A LOT OF BMW Z4 coupe here and that is a good thing out back.
Yes and let’s hope depreciation starts to hit the early M2's hard. It was still a fantastic car even if a bigger engine and improvements hit this model year.
I did it for two years and ~25K miles. Unfortunately no 12+ year old German car is up to that task without making your wallet hurt.
Business case is moot. There were practically handing out the Z4Ms with $5000 on the dash...
All set in that department, but I really would not mind a modern low weight, MT, inline 6 coupe as a DD.
I was in the market then too, although it would have seriously stretched my budget. Hindsight is 20/20 - could have driven it for routine maintenance costs only.
Exactly. What is the car “worth” and what will someone pay for or sell it at. Porsche madness starting to infiltrate the BMW world.
It is a fantastic car, but certainly should never be worth $100K. A super fun street platform with a mix of BMW provenance and old school charm. Its engine could benefit from more character a la S54 etc.
She was a really looker with wide hips, a taut body and clean white dress. An unassuming professional lady on the outside and no doubt a bit wild and ragged when it counts. A little older with an unknown history, I was worried about past relationships or hidden abuse and returned home a mix of emotions. I came back…
How drastic are the differences between the European and USA CSL models? I feel like I should know this as I own a bimmer of that vintage. Currently have a mint set of european CSL headers in my garage, trying to source a european section 1 and eventually a CSL intake...
Zero problems with Turner Motorsport, upset to know I am supporting ECS with those purchases. FCP Euro is my other go-to.
If it’s anything like the early generations it will have two 25lb mufflers. Holy hell do they know how to tack on weight.
AMEN! After experiencing the heavily praised Focus RS, M2 and Golf R there is no doubt modern cars lack the raw character and charm felt in cars even as new as the mid-2000's.
My wife and I owned a 228i Msport for 3 years, great car wish we had not sold it. Very nimble is not a descriptor I would use, then again it’s all relative to other cars you have experienced. In our case it has shared a garage with a Miata & FR-S most often.
There is no reason a comfortable 2-door roadster cannot be ~3100 lbs and its all but certain this tip the scales over that. Bigger wheels, bigger brakes (and low profile tires)... + weight.

A sports car.
A STUNNER? It all sounds dandy until a 50:50 weight distribution still means a bloated car >3400 lbs. Great engine, stellar seats but it will need to work hard on finding more curb appeal.
