In WW2 there were no innocent people. All governments were fighting total war. We went out of our way warning them it was coming for weeks. Nobody else did that during the war.

And those aircraft couldn’t carry a large enough payload either. If we couldn’t make a bomb a lesser aircraft than a B29 could carry the Japanese damn sure couldn't.

Those subs could carry single engine fighter aircraft. The bomb, to have any significant effect, would be too large for those aircraft.

Yes I understand that. The video seems to show active painting of a target with bombs riding the signal down. Didn’t think JDAM’S did that. Thought they received info from the attacking aircraft or others in area through some type of encrypted communication

I thought JDAM’s were GPS guided and didn’t rely on painting a target with anything? Laser I mean.

How do they make the power for it? I remember the 747 testing the AF did with the nose mounted laser for shooting down ICBM’s that didn’t pan out. I thought power generation for the laser was an issue (not to mention the concept in general)
