Wonder if Ford will throw a base normally aspirated V-6 in there for the "rental fleets" like they did the Mustang............................you know for us normal schlubs.

on radial engines the oil leaks past the rings in the bottom Pistons and fills the cylinders. If you don't manually rotate the engine over and pump the oil out there will be hydraulic lock and the piston pins will break.
I will never buy another car that doesn't have an auto-dimming rear view mirror. Its like my favorite thing ever. Drive a car without one when you are used to having it and you will see.
one of my favorite cars. Love the classic simple MB lines of the W202. Beautiful in black with the "hammer" like wheels. And one of the best engines AMG has ever made. Something about a normally aspirated inline 6. Soul. Can't find that much anymore.
It was 6 degrees out when I went to work today. 6. I love my heated seats.
The Merkava is a good tank, but its designed for Israel. It is not made to be transported by aircraft or to drive long distances. It is a very heavy tank and wouldn't be suited for the open plains of Eastern Europe. Its just not very mobile.
Haven't we used a smoothbore for decades now? In the M1 series along with the Leopard?
Upgraded and completely capable Gen IV aircraft are available. Our crews can already fly and maintain them and they would basically wipe the floor with any of the competition. F-16V included as well as the F-15K and F-15SA
I agree....but you know that Werner Von Braun basically was our space program and developed the Saturn rocket? He was a German.
the Super Hornet says hello.
this was inevitable as it's a built in. System versus one that can evolve on it's own and then be deployed in a wing station.
Looks like it's time for a little Delta rescue action.
Sounds great! Only one downside-you have to buy a Hyundai to get it.
Great pics! From my time as a C-5 crew chief I remember we would always try to hook up with the KC-135R instead of the KC-10's. Our T-tail didn't play well together with the #2 engine of the KC-10. Out of necessity we would hit them of course, and it made for an interesting ride to say the least.
I was a C-5 crew chief out of Dover. I got deployed with the TALCE out of McGuire quite a bit as they didn't keep 2A551C for some reason in their ranks. TALCE was a lot of fun for a young airman, but also VERY hard work.
Looks like a Block 60. UAE aircraft probably. Awesome Viper, has the F110-132 engine and conformal pods.
Anyone can figure out how to manipulate a transponder. I think if one of the passengers got access to the cockpit they could have turned the transponder off in a matter of seconds.
That is a good question. There are a couple systems on the airplane that send telemetry data back to Boeing and the airline maintenance center. The aircraft itself and the engines have monitoring systems that report data, but this is designed mainly for maintenance scheduling more than anything. The system sends…
Look, I'm all about exploring possibilities but I can attest to you that there are no secret keys or self destruct options on any Boeing Commercial aircraft (except 787, we lost that contract to a competitor). Can Boeing add something after we deliver it and they install on the aircraft? Sure, but our Repair…
sure but it has to be done from the cockpit.
