I didn't know the Ophidians angle was created for the show. Not the strongest revision. Also, doesn't the opening feature 'footage' from one of the soldier's mounted cameras? I've always thought that was pretty cool for some reason.

unless they were eliminated by Superman.

True, and in some ways, it goes all the way back to the first episode of B:TAS, where the Gotham PD were trying to arrest Batman. How these heroes impact the world around them, and the institutional response to these heroes, is a constant theme.

I think he saw the holes in the Justice Lords' arugment and was waiting for an example to demonstrate that they had crossed a line.

Agreed on "Divided We Fall." Every time Flash goes to a full red blur, I almost come to tears. But "F&S" is a close second. And I'd say "Doomsday Sanction" is probably my favorite Bats episode of JL(U). From his interaction with Waller, to stopping a nuke (the first time), to his dressing down of Superman, it's got

I really enjoy seeing Bats in Diana's room waiting for her. I can't explain it, but he looks so comfortable just sitting in the chair. In earlier series or a different person (except for maybe Catwoman?), he would have snuck in and tried to scare the info out of her.

Or from Bats' past. But I can't think of one off the top of my head.
