I’m not that familiar with what Nebula is and does in the comics, but yeah, Karen Gillan did a great job in Endgame. The heartbreaking scenes where you know she’s powerless to disobey her ultra-abusive stepfather, the tender scenes with Stark and with Rocket, the past-Nebula scenes where she’s a scheming evil robot...

Not going to wade through a million comments, but ... I’m sure there are complaints that the Girl Power scene in the final battle was a bit contrived. Captain Marvel shows up, Spidey says she might need help, suddenly only females show up to assist.

She dated Loki for a minute...

Okay, so THIS is how they get me. 6.99 is nothing... a nothing I can pay on top of what I pay for Netflix and Prime. Disney, you bastards....!

Speaking of this, can someone please find and post that hilarious video of Trump being attacked by a bald eagle at a photo shoot?

Okay but does this mean the latest season will get to Netflix soon?  That’s all i really care about.

Miniature golf was so popular at one point that movie studios forbade their actors from being photographed playing it.  It was feared that audiences would spend their money on mini-golf, not on movies.  I think this was in the 20s and 30s.

I tell my real golfer friends that their game is too damn easy - not a windmill or a dragon anywhere on the course. They think I’m trying to be funny but I’m dead serious. In fact I have taken up real golf lately and still find it to be an easier game than miniature golf.

In that same alternate universe she also stars in 10, Force 10 From Navarone, Ben 10: Alien Force, 10 Cloverfield Lane, Ten Little Indians, 3:10 to Yuma, 10 to Midnight, 10 Items or Less, 10,000 BC, and Jason X.

Hear that, AV Club? In my alternate universe, freelance commenting pays 10 dollars a word, so... send me a check.

Just saw it. liked it a lot. Gonna see it again when I get a chance. From this review, and a couple others, I thought they would lean really heavily on the 90s schtick, and they didn’t. I thought they would have a ton of obvious MeToo stuff - they had some but nothing to be offended by... and the take on immigration

“City of Roses” is nice too. “Bridge City” is less well known, but descriptive.

I gave this a bad review on Rotten Tomatoes because why the hell didn’t they hire a male Black Widow?

Technically... The Wiz was the darker version.

I had —not high hopes, but hopes, for Tin Man. It had many, many flaws.

Trump, as near as I can tell, rarely says “The blacks.

They could have gotten David Cross for less money, and he could have done the blue himself.

The episodes I’ve seen of Superstore have been so, so much more enjoyable than I’d expected. And deeper, with some very interesting, non-typical sitcom characters.

You can see the original ending on the DVD as an extra, and it makes so much difference.

We just hope nobody touches Hercules, because it’s secretly the best animated Disney movie and it’s already perfect.
