Exactly — this isn't a "we split, and now two years later he's met someone else and I'm invited to the wedding" situation. This is fresh, and it's a big wound.

I don't know. I think expecting her to go to the love of her life's wedding to the man he left her for (and so briefly after!) is the worst kind of cruelty. I hope she indulges in a little self-care and doesn't put herself through the torture.
